I bought two different sizes of this thing trying to find a version that would snap under my cat's belly (he is tall but not fat) and failed. The whole point of this thing is that it needs to stay on so as adorable as this thing is, and it is adorable, ultimately I couldn't use it. I even tried it on my smaller cat and I still couldn't get it closed. My cats only weigh 10 and 12 pounds respectively so it's not like they're freaking savanna cats. I would recommend getting this only if you have a very small thin cat
