While I’m not inclined to go swimming in winter and use it for a changing robe, it will be fabulous to wear as a jacket on blustery winter days. Whether walking the dogs or attending an outdoor event, I will be perfectly insulated from the elements. Besides being versatile, the attention to detail really makes this a worthwhile product. Here are some of my favorite features:* Thick, heavy, durable as well as water and wind proof exterior with a soft cozy lining inside.* Strong, heavy zippers. The main zipper is a two way zipper and there is a flap that covers it with heavy duty Velcro. There are zippers at the bottom of the sides that can be opened to create a vent and allow for more movement and sitting more comfortably. The two front pockets also zip closed.* All the stitching is neat and secure.* The wristbands are adjustable and stay securely closed. The sleeves were a bit long for me, but I could tighten that Velcro so they did not slide down.* The attached hood can be adjusted and locked with a toggle. Along with the high collar/neckline it ensures that snow, rain and wind will not penetrate.* There are three more pockets inside. Two are very deep with no closure. The third is actually two pockets in one and both have zippers.There are only two things that I found problematic:* The company name/logo are plastered in large letters across the back of the coat. I could see wearing this to a wider range of places if it wasn’t so visible.* The sizing chart is very confusing. The chest and waist sizes seem impossibly small, unless they are not measuring all the way around. I actually ended up ordering a larger size (small instead of extra small) because I wanted it to cover more of my legs. I’m 5’2” and it falls right below my knees.If you need a warm protective coat/changing robe/jacket for casual wear, I recommend this one. It is not inexpensive, but it will definitely keep you safe and dry during bad weather.
