I took these on a beach vacation to the tropics, and every time it rained, the towels were wet instantly and held onto sand like a normal towel.I like the design and how compact they are and light weight. Plus two people can sit on one cross legged, and a very tall person can lay down.But I thought it would be more of a quick dry material and wouldn't cling sand. More like workout material.
