I attend hot yoga classes about 3-4 times per week. I couldn't believe how expensive hot yoga towels were when I first started my yoga practice. Who has 40-60 bucks to drop on a towel, and really if you go to hot yoga more than 1-2 times per week, you need at least 2 of them! Well, this towel is awesome for the money. Yes it needs to be sprayed with a water bottle where you place hands and feet in downward dog - but, it works really well and let's face it, its 20 bucks! Don't dry it after you wash - hang it up. I guaratee if you take a lot of hot yoga classes and are fans of the Yogitoes towel, you will appreciate this towel and buy more than one!I got this in the brown/coffee color. The towel performs beautifully, doesn't slip at all and so far doesn't smell either (I'm not using it for hot yoga, just regular yoga class, but my hands and feet sweat so I needed something). I would have given it 5 stars except the color is NOTHING like what it shows online. On my screen it looks like a purplish brown, in reality it is a hideous yellow/green brown, reminiscent of bile or baby poop. So it works great, but is not that pleasant to look at. If you're wanting a relaxing practice I'd consider another shade.I recently stepped up my hot yoga practice and needed to find some new towels to increase my inventory. After searching all over the internet, I came across these towels and decided to order them based on reviews and the price. I cannot be happier with the value of this product, especially considering that similar towels are twice the price. Prior to these I had used Manduka eQua, Yogitoes, and Yoga Rat towels. This two pack was a great buy and the quality of the towels, with respect to absorbency, staying in place during flow classes, and feel , was comparable to the other brands. The only thing I noticed is that these tend to accumulate a lot of static in the dryer, so consider adding an extra dryer sheet as any underwear or socks washed with it will end up sticking to the towel. Shipping was fast and the seller was great. Will definitely buy more of these. If you're looking for a couple of yoga towels at a reasonable price and great value, get these!It is ok, but it is thinner, less absorbent, the hem stitches are poor quality and the rubber grip pattern is unevenly distributed compared to yogitoes.The carry bag is a cheap plastic bag, I tossed it because I would not need it, after yoga my mat is soaked, goes to washer-drier, then I fold it.The smokey brown color looked faded out of the box. I have washed it and has not lost any more color.Overall, functionality is ok, it does not skid, Price is great. I can buy 3 of these for the price of one yogitoes.I'm not sure what's worse: using the slippery yoga mat that gets us to buy towels in the first place, or this towel. The plastic non-skid component works pretty well to ensure that it won't slip. Unfortunately, you can feel every little one of them on your hands and knees, to the point where sometimes it can hurt to do certain positions. I give it two stars because it's absorbent and lives up to its non-skid description. But I need my yoga towel to permit a soft and flat, not bumpy and hard, surface.This mat is a good deal compared to others on the market. It washes up nicely. The first week I used it, the non skid nobs bothered my hands, but after that I got used to them. I am a new to yoga and only practice twice a week, so it was a nice affordable option for me. Eventually, I may invest in a slightly higher quality mat when this one needs replacement.I LOVE this towel for hot yoga, give it high marks for functionality, and have 2 more at home in orange and purple. However, the brown/coffee color is very different from what I had expected. In the photo, it looks like a rich mocha/dark-chocolate-y color but in reality it's much redder and lighter. It's less of a calming greyish brown than I had hoped.This towel is only ok. I have to make sure it's wet during hot yoga or my hands and feet slide everywhere. Yeah, it doesn't slide on the mat but I slide everywhere
