Great towel. I bought it because it said it wouldn't slip and it doesn't! Has a sticky back so it stays flat on your mat and it's nubby on the up side so your hands and feet don't slip. Washes wellI bought this to put over my yoga mat. I was 2 minutes into my workout and my left hand slide forward and I landed on my stomach. I’m not here to write a bag review I’m just saying what happened to me.I absolutely LOVE this yoga towel. It is the perfect size, it’s soft and sticks to the mat. And the best thing is that it does not smell like chemicals! There is just a clean smell to it. I got the grey color and love it! I’m going to get another one. Thank you Lotuscrafts!!Love this towel for when I do not yoga or mat Pilates.One warning: when it is freshly clean, use it in a few normal work about sessions first; don’t only use it for hot workout classes or you’ll just keep washing over and over. It is extremely slippery on tiles, downward facing dog is hardly possible, let alone lifting one foot, the towel will slip and you are prone to fall and hurt yourself. Very disappointed, does not hold the promise to be a non-slip towel. Useless.I really wanted to like it and keep it as I love the colour, but unfortunately it didn't perform as promised. I took it to hotpod yoga and my hands and feet definitely slipped on it a little during downward facing dog. It got a bit better after a while when my hands and feet were we bit more sweaty from the heat. I tried another brand yoga towel to compare, and I basically didn't slip on the other towel at all.The Yoga towel from Lotuscrafts is really light weight and when laid on top of my yoga mat it allows me to stretch out properly following other exercise without risk of slipping. Often I do my yoga at the end of another workout to make sure I'm stretching my muscles out properly, but this sometimes causes me to slip a bit on my mat - no more.I liked the range of colours on offer, but my gym kit tends to all be black white and grey, so the colour range on offer allowed me to match up too!Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cheaper option that is lightweight enough to not be noticed as an extra in the gym bag when carrying it around, and can foldaway to almost nothing so doesn't take up storage at home.Ich habe mir das Yoga-Handtuch für meinen wöchentlichen Yoga-Kurs gekauft.Mich hat zunächst das kompakte Paket bei der Lieferung überrascht und danach absolut begeistert: Eng zusammenrollbares Handtuch, leicht im Gewicht und trotzdem durch die gummierte Unterseite sehr gut an der Yoga-Matte anhaftend. Es schließt bündig mit der Yoga-Matte ab. Bei sämtlichen Übungen gibt das Handtuch nach unten und oben stabilen Halt. Beim Lesen anderer Rezensionen war ich kurz etwas verunsichert, da wohl andere Kunden auf dem Handtuch z.B. beim herabschauenden Hund rutschen - inzwischen bin ich überzeugt, dass es nicht am Handtuch liegt!Das Handtuch überzeugt mich durch seine sehr gute Verarbeitung und seine natürliche, sehr angenehme Oberfläche. Es verbindet die Funktionalität eines Handtuchs (sehr saugstark) mit dem Wohlfühlfaktor einer Decke. Sogar meine Yogalehrerin hat mein neues Handtuch bewundert. Hört sich übertrieben an, aber Yoga macht mit diesem Handtuch einfach mehr Spaß, da man sich auf das Wesentliche konzentrieren kann - just Yoga. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.The towel worked well the first time I used it and was non slip and absorbent, but it bled colour- the towel is dark red and it turned my pale nail polish on fingers and toes pink! There are no warnings on the packaging that the colour may bled or to wash it before use, if I had been wearing pale clothes they would be ruinedLike the colour. Totally dislike the colour runs in wash & runs onto yoga mat. Not value for money. Unhappy with it. I hadn't used it for a while. But thought I'd use it again.. still colour runs.
